Notice is hereby given that proceedings have been issued in the Business and Property Courts in Leeds under Claim Nos. BL-2026-LDS-000027 and BL-2026-LDS-000028 by Allied Textile Companies Limited for directions in relation to trust monies representing unclaimed consideration and interest arising out of the compulsory acquisition of shares in Hugh Mackay PLC and Bulmer & Lumb (Holdings) PLC, following takeovers which became unconditional on 5 March 1990 in respect of Hugh Mackay PLC and on 23 January 1987 (ordinary shares) and 16 February 1987 (preference shares) in respect of Bulmer & Lumb (Holdings) PLC.

Any person claiming to be entitled to any part of these trust monies (including any former dissentient shareholder or any person claiming through or in respect of such a shareholder, in respect of shares in Hugh Mackay PLC or Bulmer & Lumb (Holdings) PLC) must, by 4pm on 29th September 2026, notify the Applicant’s solicitors, Clarion Solicitors Limited, by email to both giulia.sinibaldi@clarionsolicitors.com and comdisres@clarionsolicitors.com, setting out the basis of their claim. Any such person has permission to apply in Claim Nos. BL-2026-LDS-000027 and/or BL-2026-LDS-000028 to vary or set aside any order made, and must in that event notify the Applicant’s solicitors at the same email addresses by 4pm on 29th September 2026. After the expiry of the period for responses to the advertisements the Applicant’s solicitors shall file a witness statement confirming the advertisements and updating the Court in respect of any responses that it has received
